Ken glances over at it as he speaks, then shoves it quickly down in an attempt to get it out of shot, without any real noticeable success. An awkward look flickers across his face. They've got several, actually... I'm pretty sure the Western one isn't the same as ours. Hell, it ain't the same as other Western noes. It's kinda weird when you think about it.

I suppose they're like different dialects? Though, I think I read somewhere that a particular type of flower stood for lust in one region and chastity in another?

Yeah, they're weird like that. It's kinda confusing, we'd say anenomes meant sincerity but it's totally the opposite in the West half the time, it's just... well, it's weird. Some of 'em are the same, though. Red roses mean the same damn thing everywhere.
